NOAA has issued Winter Storm Warnings & Winter Weather Advisories all over Colorado today.

4-12″ of snow is forecast over much of the state with the high country seeing the most snow.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...4 TO 8 INCHES WITH UP TO 12 INCHES POSSIBLE

CO and much of the west just went through a bit of a dry, hot spell.  

Denver hit 73ºF last week.  Some spots in CO got as hot as 78ºF.  This return to winter is much appreciated.

CO had been doing well this year with Wolf Creek at 321″ of snowfall for the season.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* IMPACTS...SNOW ACCUMULATION ON ROADWAYS...ESPECIALLY ON
  MOUNTAIN PASSES...WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT. IN ADDITION...
  VISIBILITIES WILL BE LIMITED AT TIMES DUE TO A COMBINATION OF
  FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW. BE PREPARED FOR WINTER DRIVING
