NOAA has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Washington state today that is calling for 12-18″ of snow above 3,500-feet.ย  Most Washington ski resorts have base areas right around 3,500-feet, so this storm is perfect.

“Winter Storm Watch in effect for the mountains Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon. New snow accumulations of 12 to 18 inches possible above about 3500 feet.” – NOAA Seattle, WA today
