Revelstoke ski resort in British Columbia, Canada recorded 22cms (9″) of fresh snow last night.
We got up there first thing this morning and the mountain was a powder paradise.
The new snow was good, fluffy, and dry.
This place will make you a good skier/rider.
Long, continuously steep runs off the Stoke chair with world class tree skiing and not many people out equals lots of leg burning laps.ย ย
Riding here early season is a great way to get the legs charged and tuned up for the season.
Everywhere off the Stoke chair skied well this morning.ย
North Bowl was so fun, soft, deep, and bouncy.
South Bowl was deep with a little crunch underneath in spots.
The weather varied a bit today, but generally the top was socked in and about halfway down the chairline things cleared up and visibility was great.ย The views across the valley today to the Monashees were spectacular.
Another storm is forecast to roll through tomorrow and drop 15cms of snow at Revelstoke.
Let the good times roll.
