Alex Honnold is a household name, following his insane free solo climb of El Capitan in Yosemite National Park, and the subsequent Oscar-winning documentary of the climb.
Not content with letting her son claim all the family limelight, his mother has an achievement of her own: she is the oldest woman to climb El Capitan (with ropes, of course!).
