Alta got more than 156” of snow only in January 2017. The average snowfall for this month, according to alta.com, isย 95.40โ. That means that it snowed more than 163% above the average. Insane, isn’t it?
Today was another unreal day. We woke up with a couple of new inches of fresh, and it kept snowing for almost all day, except for a couple of minutes of sunshine. Not so deep as yesterday, but still Utah’s best powder.
Around 1 p.m., the Sun gave some life signals. But it lasted for less than an hour. And it started to snow heavily, again.
Forecast shows some more snow for tonight, but it shouldย be the end of the storm.ย Hopefully, tomorrowย willย be a bluesky day, and we will have to search for some untouched, magic powder.
