According to local police and UDOT, a car was pushed off the highway 210 in Little Cottonwood Canyon (road to Alta), Utah this morning.
No one in the car was injured.
The avalanche hit highway 210 in Little Cottonwood Canyon near the White Pine Lake area, according to Police
The road was open at the time of the avalanche.

Highway 210 in Little Cottonwood Canyon was closed last night from 8pm to 8am this morning for avalanche control.
The road is still currently closed as of this writing at 12:45pm MT with the latest estimated reopening time of 2:30pm MT, according to UDOT.
According to UDOT, Big Cottonwood Canyon (highway 190) is also a mess today due to heavy snow.

The Utah Avalanche Center has reported today’s avalanche danger at CONSIDERABLE, the avalanche danger rating the most people die under.
