Conditions Report
It’s crazy to think spring is already here in Argentina. ย The trees are flowering, birds are chirping everywhere, and green leaves are unfurling.
We had a big snowstorm last week that delivered 8 days of great powder skiing.ย The backcountry has been incredible the past 7 days.
Temperatures have been getting warmer each day since the storm with today being quite toasty. ย We’ve had just enough freeze-thaw cycles now toย develop someย good corn at this point.
Today, you could rip hard on any part of the mountain. ย There was no one at the hill and the Mothership, Nubes chair, once again proved its meddle. ย Cranking laps on Nubes all day is enough to make anyone exhausted. ย Nubes did not disappoint today.
The freeride terrain off Nubes was funย today. ย Smooth, corny, soft, slushy, and fast. ย The best part, is after you rip through the rocks, you can then roll into the park and hit three medium-sized jumps.
The boys in the park were throwing down today. ย 720s, rodeo 5s, backflips, 360s, and all kinds of grabs. ย It was a great show.
The forecast is showing a bit of storminess the rest of the week. ย We’re hoping for a refresh.
