The riding on the South Coast of BC is some of the world’s finest.ย Just think of the place names: The North Shore, Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton and the South Chilcotin. That’s about five lifetimes of riding on some of the best trails in the world. And there’s lots to choose from; gnarly, rooted descents and technical climbs, fast flowy single track, the world’s biggest bike park, networks of all mountain and enduro trails that pretty much blow everywhere else away and some high alpine single track to cap it all off and tie things together.
Evo.com in conjuction with the legendary bike trip specialists Big Mountain Bike Adventures want to take you on the riding trip of a lifetime.
No, you won’t be in Peru or Chile or somewhere ultra exotic that Evo and Big Mountain Bike Adventure trips tend to go, you’ll be in the South Coast of BC, which is the centre of riding in North America.ย From September 10-17, 2017, Evo and Big Mountain are taking bookings for a week of amazingย riding in one of the nicest months of the year. This trip hits all the marks. Spend the first day riding Whistler’s famous enduro style trails and then day two it’s up to Pemberton for a day of shredding brown pow. ย Day three, get a float plane drop (ya, you heard that right) to one of the most spectacular mountain bike trail systems in the world. You’ll fly into Lorna Lake and spend two days riding bikes in the backcountry, with a night spent in a remote camp deep in the heart of the South Chilcotin Mountains. The Chilcotin is a rider’s paradise, with buff, flowy singletrack that meanders through high alpine meadows and lakes. After that, you’ll finish the trip with a couple of days riding the epic trails of Squamish, BC.
If you’re an avid rider and feel like shredding the best of what BC has to offer, then this trip is for you. All you have to do is book your flights, pack your bike and kit and show up. Evo will take care of everything else.
