Big White Ski Resort in British Columbia is excited to announce that it will open six days early and kick off its 61st season on Friday, November 22.
Originally scheduled to open on November 28, recent snowfall has built a solid 24 inches (60 cm) base at the village elevation of 5,758 feet (1,755 meters). Summit measurements reached an impressive 40 inches (102 cm) at the Cliff Chair Weather Plot, at 6,644 feet (2,025 meters.)
