Cardrona Alpine Resort, located in Cardrona, New Zealand, opened up for the 2024 ski season on Saturday, June 15. The resort has received 16 cm (6 inches) of snow in the last seven days. Currently, the resort has three lifts open, including McDougall’s Chondola, and both the Kindy and Learner Conveyors. The resort also currently has two terrain parks open, with four features in the ‘learners’ park and two features in the ‘McPark’. McDougall’s Chondola allows access to a select few runs right now, but more should be opening shortly, with snowmaking temperatures and possible small natural snow accumulation in the near future.

Lift tickets at Cadrona Alpine Resort are currently $139 for adults, and $79 for children if purchased online. They can also be bought at the resort for $199 for adults and $99 for children. Cardrona is also running a deal on season passes: a season pass currently costs $1,749 for an adult and $599 for kids. These season passes grant unlimited access to Cardrona, and the nearby ski resort, Treble Cone. You can lock in these season passes at the lowest price right now, before they increase in price.
