Cerro Catedral, Argentina Conditions Report:

July 1st, 2017

Official Opening Day

“Opening day was warm, with soft snow again anywhere that the sun touched. The south facing aspects never really loosened up and had a inch thick crust on them (unexpectedly leading me to my first cartwheel of the season). They had the majority of the lifts spinning today except for Princesa 3 and the Condor lifts.

Nubes looked like it was skiing well in the sunny spots but I wasn’t able to make it over there” – Mike Amaya, Patagonia Ski Tours
