There are currently seven wildfires in Colorado. The fires, six of which are in the northwest of the state, are currently burning 26,137-acres.
Yesterday, in response to the Muddy Slide Fire, the forest service closed Routt National Forest.

2. Sylvan Fire
Size:ย 3,775 acres
Location:ย 16 miles south of Eagle
Cause: Still under investigation, but lightning suspected
3. West Fire
Size:ย 3,424 acres
Location:ย 80 miles northwest of Craig
Cause: Lightning
Size:ย 4,150 acres
Location:ย 20 miles west of Kremmling
Cause: Unknown
Size:ย 881 acres
Location:ย 10 miles northwest of Red Mesa
Cause: Lightning
Size:ย 560 acres
Location: Garfield County
Cause: Lightning suspected
7. Collom Fire
Size: 640 acres
Location: Near Craig
Cause: Unknown
