Copper Mountain, Colorado, announced on its Instagram page that it will open for the season on Friday, November 8. Copper has extended its ski season into May for the last two seasons. Copper received 60 inches of snowfall in April, racking up major single-day snowfall totals, including an 18-inch powder day on April 16. From its world-class skiing and snowboarding terrain to its charming villages filled with family-friendly activities and accommodation options, it’s not hard to see why this is a must-visit resort.

September is here, meaning skiers and riders are counting down the days until mountains across the country open for the season. “See you in 70 days,” Copper Mountain wrote in the Instagram post.
