North Conway, NH, September 04, 2024 โ€“ Cranmore Mountain Resort in New Hampshire is excited to announce its partnership with Uphill New Englandโ€™s multi-mountain season pass. This pass provides streamlined uphill access to over 17 ski resorts across New England, including Cranmore’s sister resorts Jiminy Peak Resort in Massachusetts and Bromley Mountain in Vermont.

In addition to resort access, the pass offers access to a mobile app featuring digital check-in, vertical stat tracking, mountain status updates, special promotions, designated uphill routes, policy updates, and a community of like-minded uphillers. Passholders will also receive an armband, which is required for entry at each participating resort.

Upon arrival at the resort, Uphill New England passholders must check in via the Uphill New England mobile app to access the mountain. To check in, open the app, select “Slope Scanner”, and scan the QR code displayed on Uphill New England signage, located at the base of the mountain and along the uphill routes.

The 2024-25 Uphill New England Season Pass is available for purchase at an introductory price of $185 and will increase to $215 later this fall. Uphill New England Passes can be purchased online at www.uphillnewengland.org.

Cranmore also offers a resort-specific uphill pass for $149, which includes access to the Uphill New England mobile app and armband. This pass is available for purchase online at cranmore.com. Uphill day tickets will also be available online and at the ticket office. For each Cranmore Uphill Pass sold, $20 will be donated to Granite Backcountry Alliance.

Cranmore season passholders who wish to add uphill access (Cranmore only) can visit the Cranmore Ticket Office during operating hours to obtain their armband.

New Uphill Events, Routes, and Streamlined Policy

In partnership with Mountain Sports Lab and Inclusive Ski Touring, Cranmore will be launching a weekly group skin. These excursions will be led by Inclusive Ski Touring volunteers on Sunday mornings from mid-December through late March. Check-in starts at 8am on the first floor of Fairbank Lodge, with an on-snow time of 9 a.m. Rentals for this program are provided by Mountain Sports Lab. An Uphill Ticket or Season Pass is required to participate.

With the launch of this new pass and a new alliance with Mountain Sports Lab and Responsible Uphillers, Cranmore will introduce a streamlined uphill policy directing uphill traffic to designated uphill routes.

  • South Slope: 7 a.m.โ€“3:30 p.m. (7:30 p.m. during night operations)
  • Lower Skimeister to Skimeister to Summit: 9 a.m.โ€“3:30 p.m. (8:30 a.m. on weekends and vacation weeks)

  • Cranmore Mountain Road/Summit Access Road: 7 a.m.โ€“3:30 p.m. (Open once natural snow coverage allows)

These designated routes ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests while maintaining efficient traffic flow across the mountain.
