A severe September 3 storm cycle has bombarded Colorado’s Eleven Mile State Park, Spinney Mountain State Park, and Charlie Meyers State Wildlife Area.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife tweeted damages to include:
- dead wildlife
- extensive roadway damage
- flash flooding
- and 16 INCHES of hail accumulation
Unfortunately, major storms like the one over Spinney Mountain and Eleven Mile last night have impacts on more than just roads or infrastructure. Sadly, this pronghorn fawn did not survive the storm that dumped 16 inches of hail on the area. pic.twitter.com/b5eplpFq4x
