Severe weather including golf-ball sized hail, dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning, and 70 mph winds are forecast for the Denver, Colorado metro area on Monday, according to meteorologists.
“Be weather ready today with a few severe thunderstorms possible,” the National Weather Service in Boulder warns.
There’s a 40-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3 pm with a high temperature of around 77F. The chance for rain and thunderstorms increases Monday evening to 50-percent.
