The Dude and Dude Dog tune into the early season powder day at Grand Targhee Resort. Conditions where at least shoulder high- on a corgi/heeler mix.
The season began with an early bang! November 17th opening was a powder day and it seemed like the season was already in full swing. All 5 lifts are open with 97% of the terrain. Though the magnitude of snowfall has tapered off, when the storms have come through, its provided fresh track followed by bluebird days with views of the Tetons and the groomers are compressing a solid 63″ base into clean corduroy.
Unlike other places in the country, Winter is here in the Tetons– and more is on the way. It looks like continuous snowfall and colder conditions over the next week, setting up the holidays for primo enjoyment!
