Still dark out there when the first rays of gold started to appear over the Fernie, BC mountains. 10” of fresh snow overnight. 38” over the last week, and almost 13 feet this winter already. Numbers talk by themselves. Today was going to be a good day.
And it was. Sunshine and a temperature of 23ºF made it even better. All the terrain was opened by the end of the day and skiing was excellent.
