The women’s FIS Alpine calendar is bound to see some exciting records in the 2024-25 season. With Mikaela Shiffrin slated to reach 100 World Cup victories in her carrer, all eyes will be on the American ski racer. Nevertheless, the records don’t end there. Lara Gut-Behrami is defending her Overall Season titel and could beat her own record for the oldest female skier to clinch the title.
A total of 37 events are scheduled in the 2024-25 women’s calendar, of which 20 are tech events (Giant Slalom and Slalom) and 17 speed events (Downhill and Super-G).
The tech skiers will kick off the season in Europe, with the season opener in Sölden, Austria, this coming weekend. The speed women will have to wait a few more weeks, with the speed opening being held on the Birds of Prey course in Beaver Creek, Colorado, in mid-December, a week after the men’s.
North America will host a total of three race weekends before the circuit moves back to Europe. In February, the 2025 World Ski Championships in Saalbach, Austria, where the combined team event will make its senior debut ahead of featuring at Milano Cortina 2026 one year later. At the end of the season, the women’s World Cup circuit returns to North America for the World Cup Finals at Sun Valley, Idaho. For the full calendar, see all dates below.

NBC Universal will also show some coverage from the domestic World Cups through the NBC family, including NBC, CNBC, USA and Peacock. Peacock will not have domestic World Cups on demand.
International World Cups (except for Austrian events) can be watched live and on demand on skiandsnowboard.live. Austria holds separate media rights agreements, so all Austrian World Cup events can be watched on Peacock with key events like Sölden, Kitzbühel and others aired on NBC.
Keep up with how to watch each event all season long on U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s TV listings page.
U.S. Ski & Snowboard is working on simplifying how to watch winter sports events with the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS).
Also returning this season will be the NBC Stifel Snow Show, a groundbreaking new television series that was launched last year. The Stifel Snow Show follows the arc of the winter sports season each week that aired on Peacock, CNBC and YouTube. Every week, new and seasoned fans can dive deeper into the world of elite skiing and snowboarding through weekly World Cup results, interviews with athletes and alumni and more.
