NOAA has issued a Flood Watch for Western Wyoming, including the Jackson Hole Area. Avalanche Warnings have also been issued and these are in effect until early Friday morning.
Heavy rain, high avalanche dangers, possible flooding, and heavy snow are all impacting Jackson Hole.
Snow levels are expected to rise throughout the day Thursday, giving way to precipitation that is going to fall in the form of rain. This rain will eat away at the snowpack and increase the risk of avalanches.
