Indy Pass announces new resorts. Added capacity triggers limited sale of 24/25 Indy Passes.
The Indy Pass announced today that Loveland Resort in Colorado is among 52 new resorts added to the Indy Pass for the 2024-25 season. 30 of those resorts were announced, including Loveland Ski Area, Colorado; Innsbruck, Austria (12 resorts); Bear Valley, California; and Massif du Sud, Quebec. The Indy Pass consists of 230+ resorts on three continents, allowing skiers and snowboarders to spend two days at each resort. The Indy Pass supports and empowers independent resorts while connecting people to the essence of the sport: One that keeps mountain sports affordable and accessible while helping our children forge a relationship with the mountains that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
Nestled amidst the beauty of Californiaโs vast Sierra Nevada mountains,ย Bear Valley Resortย beckons outdoor enthusiasts with a year-round haven. From its renowned downhill skiing and snowboarding terrain to its charming small-town village atmosphere, this resort promises an unforgettable experience. Only two hours from the greater Sacramento area and three hours for those coming from the Bay Area, Bear Valley is the perfect destination for a day or weekend trip. The mountain offers just under 1,700 acres of terrain to explore, six lifts and a wide array of beginning-to-expert runs to hone your skills.
Loveland Ski Area, Colorado, has a base elevation of 10,800 feet and a summit elevation of 13,010 feet. The lifts access 1,800 skiable acres, and foot power accesses another 100 skiable acres. Loveland is off I-70, making commuting from Denver easy for a day trip out of the city.
Innsbruck, Austria, is not only a picturesque town two hours from Salzburg or Munich, but it also is the gateway to a group of ski resorts, which together form Olympia SkiWorld Innsbruck. There are 12 separate ski areas on the same ski pass. The ski area includes the famous Stubai Glacier, Austriaโs highest ski resort, Kรผhtai, freeriding paradise Axamer Lizum, and the family-friendly Rangger Kรถpfl. Its highest point is the Stubai Glacier at 10,532 feet, has a vertical of 4,970 feet, a ski area of 213 miles of groomed runs (not connected), and 111 lifts.
Massif du Sud, Quebec, is located in the Notre Dame Mountains. This destination offers an incomparable experience for outdoor enthusiasts who seek wilderness and unforgettable moments. Massif du Sud offers an exceptional playground with 37 trails for all levels and an exceptional glade concept with a 300-acre skiing area.
With the addition of these resorts and the capacity they add to the Indy network, Indy Pass will release a limited quantity of passes for sale to the general public on October 28 while supplies last. This will be the final sale of the 2024-25 season. Indy Pass limits the number of passes sold each season to stay true to its member mountains’ independent, less-crowded nature.
“Last year we added 54 and this year, 52 new resorts, proving once again that the Indy Pass is the fastest-growing pass on in the world. We will continue to add value for our pass holders without overselling passes and compromising the experience.”
– Indy Pass director Erik Mogensen
