Jack Frost to Open on Wednesday, Dec. 4 for the 2023-24 Winter Season
First Pennsylvania Ski Resort to Open This Season!
WHAT: Today, Jack Frost announced that it will open its slopes at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4 – making it the first resort in Pennsylvania to open for the 2024/25 ski and ride season. Media are invited to join eager guests to experience the first turns of the season at Jack Frost.
Opening Day Activities:
Our Opening Day celebration will include a ski through banner break on One Park, a live DJ (Appalachian Entertainment) slopeside, Donut Churro Rings, Swag, & Coffee (while supplies last). We are planning to offer One Park, Snowflake and Powder Puff slopes, serviced by Pocono and Tobyhanna lifts.
Looking Ahead to the 2024/25 Season:
Guests can expect another great season of skiing and riding at Jack Frost with a full events calendar including Women In Powder First Fridays, Topsy Turvy Day, Saturday Smores, and live music at E2000.

WHEN: The slopes at Jack Frost Resort will open for skiing and snowboarding 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4 – Friday, Dec. 6, and 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7- Sunday, Dec. 8.

Jack Frost features progressive trails that let skiers start on one side of the mountain and explore more challenging runs as they gain confidence! Guests can also get first tracks twice in one day!
