Report from February 5th, 2020
I drove from Park City, UT to Jackson Hole, WY today.
I arrived tired and very excited to be in Jackson for the first time this winter.
I met up with my old friend and Jackson Hole Ninja, Andrew Whiteford.
We jumped straight into the backcountry for a quick lap and the adventure was grand.
The snow wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t terrible.
Creamy here, punchy there, smooth chalk here, nearly normal powder there.
It was just right and just enough for me.
Jackson appears to be low-tide here right now which just makes for more fun features to play with.
I’m very fired up to be here in Jackson for the big storm.
NOAA is calling for 12-30″ of snowfall in Jackson Hole between now and Friday.
Here we go…
