Jackson Hole, WY was absolutely unreal yesterday.

Jackson Hole currently has the deepest snowpack theyโ€™ve ever recorded and the 2nd most snowfall theyโ€™ve ever recorded and itโ€™s only Februaryโ€ฆ  Deepest snowpack of the year around here is usually around April 1st.

Deep Pow Jackson Hole on February 22nd, 2017

No one has ever seen Jackson Hole this filled inโ€ฆ   The possibilities are endless right now.

Deep, dense, huck-wild snow today.

The mountain didnโ€™t open at all the previous day โ€“ Tuesday โ€“ so things were really fresh up high.

The snow felt about 2 feet deep where it hadnโ€™t been touched (backcountry) and was perfect for hucking.  There were spots were the snow was a bit more windpressed and less deep, but anywhere it was protected (trees, chutes, etc) the snow was crazy deep and amazing.

Pillows were soft, cliffs were money, turns were deep, hoots were loud, good times were good.

Big thanks to the crew showing me around today.  I had the most incredible time.  Richard is a wild man.  Iโ€™ve never seen speed flying in the flesh before and I was screaming my head off!  So so sickโ€ฆ
