Report from February 13th, 2019

We arrived in Jackson Hole, WY last night at midnight after skiing the Tahoe Backcountry in the morning and driving 12 hours through the day and night.

It was worth it.

Today, Jackson was deep, stormy, and uncrowded.

We did 3 runs in the backcountry off the tram and each of them was stellar.

I was exhausted after the 3rd hike.

This is place is for real.

Jackson Hole has already seen 256″ – 344″ of snowfall this season.

Jackson Hole has a 76-92″ snowpack.

NOAA has issued a Winter Storm Warning calling for 12-18″ of snow between now and Saturday morning.

.Significant snow and blowing snow are expected across much of
western Wyoming this afternoon and tonight. The heaviest snowfall
is expected this afternoon and evening. There will be a short lull
in activity by around midday Thursday, with light snow
accumulations expected Thursday afternoon, before another winter
storm impacts western Wyoming Thursday night into Friday, with
another round of heavy snow expected during this time period.
