K2, the original American Ski and Snowboard Brand celebrated for its pioneering spirit and innovative product, is proud to deliver a new collection of skis and boots for the upcoming Winter 24/25 season with designs that fuel the progression of the freestyle and freeride experience and continue to push the envelope of what is possible on the mountain. New designs include the Omen, an all-new freestyle ski, and the Reckoner KF, a new pro model ski for โ€œCrazy Karlโ€ Fostvedt.

Additionally, all new K2 skis are constructed with BioResin Algae, a proprietary plant-based formula that is high-performing and more sustainable than oil-based resins. In the boot line, look for a huge expansion of BOAยฎ technology, from the highest performing models to the best-selling Built For Comfort (BFC) series, as well as the all-new Revolve KF, the brainchild of Karl Fostvedt and one of the stiffest FL3X boot K2โ€™s ever made.

The NEW Omen ski collection brings freeskiers durability and performance to push the progression of park, pipe, and street skiing. Featuring K2โ€™s Carbon Boost Braid combined with ample rocker in the tip and tail and a blunt shape for freestyle, the Omen delivers lively pop off the lip of jumps with the stability needed to stomp landings. Rigorously tested, athlete-approved, and predicted to appear on podiums, the Omen range includes a Team version, Omen 90, Omen 85, and Omen 90 Womens and Omen 85 Womens.

The twin-tip freeride 2024 Reckoner collection features all-new construction with increased durability. K2โ€™s patented Spectral Braid technology allows for tighter fiber angles in the midbody of the ski with more open angles in the tip and tail to create a surfy ride with a torsionally stiff feel underfoot for reactive turns. New additions to the range include a 124 and 110 width ski and a new pro model designed by athlete Karl Fostvedt. Uniquely his, with a soft flex and twin tip shape, this ski is ideal for hitting big jumps, deep landings, and a playful approach to the biggest lines on the mountain. The womenโ€™s Reckoner collection expands with new 110 and 102 widths.

The award-winning Mindbender ski range delivers the design-forward freeride performance K2 is often recognized for, built to slice through variable conditions with a planted and fun feel. Inspired by the process of pressing vinyl records, garage bands and classic rock, the result is a cohesive collection of bright bases and subdued top-sheet graphics. The Mindbender range features two constructions: the C (Carbon) and Ti (Titanium), offering varied levels of stiffness to meet the demands of all freeride skiers The C Collection is extremely lively and maneuverable with unparalleled stability and features the patented Spectral Braid, a first-of-its-kind variable-angle fiber reinforcement that allows for precision-tuned torsion and flex by altering the fiber orientation along the length of the ski. The Mindbender Ti Collection delivers hard-charging performance using Titanal Y Beam Construction and Torsion Control Design. ย The Y-shaped prongs set over the ski edges near the tip provide powerful turn initiation, while a narrower shape in the tail provides additional stiffness and support.

Bringing the benefits of BOAยฎ technology to a wider array of skiers, K2 launches the BFC (Built for Comfort) BOAยฎ boot. The BFC BOAยฎ is designed for skiers who want a reactive boot but prefer a roomier fit, for beginner to intermediate skiers. The dial and cable technology eliminates traditional boot fitting pain points and โ€œhotspotsโ€ caused by over-tightened buckles, resulting in Goldilocks out of the box comfort. The brand-new Cushfit Pro Liner and the heat-moldable shell can adapt to various feet without sacrificing support and responsiveness. An Aprรจs Mode makes walking more convenient, keeping skiers smiling once the lifts stop turning.

โ€œWe get it; ski boots can be seriously uncomfortable, to the point that skiing isnโ€™t fun. We want everyone to enjoy a day in the mountains. We hope skiers put on the BFC BOA and forget they are wearing ski boots. The BOA technology helps skiers achieve a fit that works for them.โ€

K2 will expand the Mindbender, Anthem, and Recon BOAยฎ ski boot collections, adding a new Mindbender 140 BOAยฎ and Recon 140 BOAยฎ. Both boots feature a new BOAยฎ WrapLiner for improved performance. The womenโ€™s Anthem 125 BOAยฎ features a gender-specific BOAยฎ WrapLiner with a lower cuff to allow for more calf adjustments and a new last for increased ankle adjustments.

The 2024/25 K2 Ski and boot collection will be available online at K2snow.com and at select retailers in the autumn of 2024.
