Report from March 23, 2024
Yesterday was Fox’s 1 year anniversary of his hip fracture.
We went for a walk.
Clouds and views were in and out.
We dropped into 12-16″ of fluffy, fast new snow that had all fallen overnight.
There was definitely a firm, smooth bottom, but we didn’t notice hitting it.
The skiing was superb.
We came back up for another lap as the next storm was rolling in.
We got hammered by the wind on the ridge and enjoyed it.
It was nice to feel the mountains barking again.
Our run back to the car was cruisy and fun.
Another great ski day in the mountains.
Oh, and then I ran back to Palisades Tahoe and skied the afternoon with my wife ๐
Yesterday was ski day #100 for my season and ski day #405 since December 8, 2023 (405 out of the past 471 days).
Thanks, California!
