Researchers at Vaisala found that, during the period from 2016-2020, Oklahoma experienced the most lightning flashes per square kilometer, passing Florida.
The rest of the top 5 are Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas ranking 3rd, 4th, and 5th, respectively.
