Guests who plan to visit Park City Mountain Resort, Utah, this winter have until Tuesday, September 3 at 4 P.M. MST to enter for a chance to purchase a season parking pass in the covered and coveted Mountain Village Garage. 83 remaining season parking permits will be assigned on a random lottery system. Those who are chosen will have the opportunity to purchase the pass for $799, which is an increase from the $775 price tag last season. Anyone interested can apply here. Over 400 total entries have already been gathered. “Winners” will be notified on September 4.

Applicants must own a 2024-25 winter season Epic Pass. Reservations will still be required, providing they are available and must be made by 1 P.M. on any day they plan to use the parking facility. After 1:00 P.M. all parking will be free, and no reservations will be required. The resorts’ goal is to provide an improved arrival experience, help alleviate congestion at the Mountain Village base area and in adjacent neighborhoods, as well as give guests a variety of options to access the mountain.

For those who don’t secure a season parking pass, there will still be plenty of options. Similar to last year, the Mountain Village base will operate under a reservation system with both paid and free parking options. There will also be incentives for carpooling and public transit use. Reservations made for visits on or before December 12 will be free at Mountain Village, while those made for December 13 forward will be paid. Daily parking costs will be $28 per vehicle for surface lots and $46 plus service fees for the Mountain Village garage.

Free parking will be available on a first come first serve basis in the Cabriolet lot as well as at Park City High School on weekends and holidays, and High Valley Transit Park-n-Ride locations such as Richardson Flat and Ecker Hill. Paid options are available in the Upper Village and Pendry lots, also on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking reservations are not available in the Canyons Village base area.
