We Love You JP - Video Tribute

It’s been less than 6 months, but the wound is still fresh for many of us. September of 2014, the skiing community lost one it’s greatest and most inspirational free skiers ever. JP Auclair passed away in a deadly avalanche in South America along with another great rider and person, Andreas Fransson.

Alpine Initiatives, a nonprofit organization that engages the snow sports community, has come out with an amazing video tribute for JP Auclair perfectly titled, “We Love you JP”.

Snowbrains recently published a great article listing its Top 10 Freeskiers of All Time. JP deserves to be listed among the greats on there. Where he places on that list can be up for discussion but what will never be debated is his defining moment in the free skiing industry. His “Street Segment” from the award winning “All.I.Can” film was legendary even before JP passed away and is considered by many, myself included, the greatest ski video ever. Yes I know, that song is unforgettable as well.
