Day number 218 in a row…

This place is straight magic in the springtime.

We showed up at 10am again and the snow was soft and fun all over the mountain.

The cornice air and the groomer off Chair 23 was $$$$.

The bump runs on either size of Chair 23 were soft, slushy, and dreamy.

The face run off Chair 3 was really fun.

Mammoth is doing an excellent job with farming snow and placing it where it’s needed.

Chair 3 and Chair 23 are the only chairs open and you ride the lower gondola to access these chairs.

Today was warm, sunny, in the 60s, and a bit windy – but not bad.

Lots of fun costumes and lots of ski showing out there today.

Tomorrow is the last day of the season at Mammoth.ย ย

Tomorrow will be Mammoth’s 219th day open in a row this season!

Mt. Waterman ski area, just outside LA, was founded by my friend Bryce Newcomb. Bryce just passed away after being in a coma after a skiing. We’ll always miss you, Bryce. Thanks so much for taking me in and showing me around at Jackson Hole last season. Good times, buddy. Good times. image: snowbrains
