A man sadly died today, Thursday, July 27, 2023, whilst skiing at Thredbo Ski Resort, Australia.
According to the police report, at around 12:30 p.m. today, a 73-year-old man was skiing when he struck a pole on the edge of the ski run.
Other skiers commenced CPR prior to the arrival of medical staff. However, he died at the scene.
Officers from Monaro Police District have established a crime scene and will conduct inquiries into the incident.
Police will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
