Sean Haberthier, who had been reported missing last Thursday, was foundย unresponsive by searchers Friday morning, and pronounced dead yesterdayย by authorities.
The 47-years-old manย died of a severe skull fracture after skiing into a tree. Summit County Coroner Regan Wood reported he was not wearing a helmet at the time.ย Apparently,ย the site of the accident wasย ย the expert Lower Boneyard run off the Peak 8 6-Chair.
