Mt. Baker, WA Conditions Report: Spring Sprung

The view from Chair 8 was no joke on April Fools Day 4/1/16

It’s that time of year and Spring sprung fast up at Mt. Baker making this past week extra fun. Not only is the snowpack holding on, the sky has been blue more often than not for some prime sunny hot laps. Gaper Fools Day brought out the usual suspects (and lack of clothing) for a rowdy day on the spring corn working on the goggle tans.

The forecast is looking the same for this upcoming week so keep the sunscreen and beers on-hand. And get ready for some hard, fast snow in the morning and soft creamy runs in the afternoon.
