The Canadian Rockies in Alberta just got dumped on. Nakiska Ski Area received nearly 30″ of snow at the summit. Along with that, temperatures have stayed cool, so they kicked on the snow making system. They’re currently scheduled to open on Saturday, November 3rd, 2019. If this weather pattern keeps up, it could be earlier.
