NOAA just reported that they are forecasting 2-6″ of snow for the Wasatch Mountains of Utah this Thursday.ย Expect some fun hype out of the storm as it’s forecast to drop snow on Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solidtude, and Park City.
Snow levels are forecast to drop as low as 6,000-feet with this storm.
NOAA:
“A change from the warm dry weather is in store state-wide for Thursday. Cooler temperatures can be expected with widespread valley rain and mountain snow. Accumulating snow is expected above about 7000 feet with amounts generally ranging from 2 to 6 inches. Snow levels could dip as low as 6000 feet but little accumulation is expected at that level. The snow could impact high elevation secondary routes such as the Mirror Lake Highway, Wolf Creek Summit and SR-14 past Cedar Breaks.” – NOAA, Salt Lake City, UT
