NOAA: Warm & Dry Conditions To Return to West Coast & Possibly Stay Into Mid-February

NOAA is forecasting high pressure to build onto the West Coast next week and stay there for the foreseeable future.

NOAA is forecasting the possibility of drier and warmer than average conditions in CA, UT, NV, AZ, NM through February 16th, 2018 along with wetter and colder conditions inย WA, OR, MT, ID, WY during the same time frame.

  • High Pressure = above average temperatures and below average precipitation

NOAA is currently forecasting this warmer, drier conditions to stay over the West through February 6th with their normal forecasting tools and through February 16th with their experimental forecasting tools.

NOAA recently released their February, March, and April outlook for the USA and it is also supporting more precipitation and colder temperatures in WA, OR, MT, ID, WY along with warmer temperatures and less precipitation in CA, UT, NV, NM, AZ.
