Yep, snow is forecast on the Big Island of Hawaii today and tonight and enough snow has already fallen in Hawaii to close the road to the summit of 13,803′ Mauna Kea at the Visitor Information Center at 9,200′, according to rangers.
NOAA has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Mauna Kea on Hawaii that ends today at 6:30pm PST and initially called for 4-8″ of snowfall.ย Aย Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Mauna Kea until 6am PST tomorrow morning.
