“Another round of accumulating snow will occur tonight into tomorrow for the mountains and northern areas. Precipitation will start as a wintry mix in southern and coastal zones after midnight with central areas seeing snow to start. This will be a mostly rain event for the coast and southern areas while the mountains can expect several inches of snow before changing over to a wintry mix.”

Precipitation will fall in the form of rain and transition to snow as the storm progresses.
The 6-10 day outlook calls for below average temperatures and below average precipitation on the East Coast.
