NOAA has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Mt. Rainier area of Washington State for today including Crystal Mountain ski resort.
The Winter Storm Warning is calling for 6-10″ of snow by 5pm today.

Snow levels will be around 5,000′ with this storm.

Mt. Rainier and Crystal Mountain both awoke to a bit of snow on the ground yesterday morning and a couple inches of snow today.
NOAA is currently forecasting 50-71″ of snow at 12,762′ on Mt. Rainier, WA today through Thursdayย (see image below).
NOAA is forecasting 8-18″ of snow at 6,322′ at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort between today and tomorrowย (see image way below).
Snow is forecast everyday through Friday on Mt. Rainier and at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort.
This storm is great news for squashing the wildfires that have been burning in Washington this summer.
SEA-TAC airport had only seen 0.02″ of rain in the past 3 months as of September 14th, 2017.
