A day of dreams just went down at Ohau Snow Fields, in New Zealand’s Southern Alps.

A fresh two-feet of glorious powder snow is draped all over Ohau—and there’s still heaps to be had even after shredding bell-to-bell.

What follows is an essay in photos captured by the author during a day for the books.
