David Wise is one of the most decorated halfpipe skiers of all time. He won two Olympic Gold Medals in halfpipe skiing – the only two since the discipline was added to the Olympics in 2014. He also has four X-Games Gold Medals and two X-Games Silver Medals in halfpipe. He will leave a legacy in halfpipe skiing as one of the greatest of all time.
Wise was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. Wise is an incredibly talented human as a family man, professional skier, outdoorsman, farmer, avid mountain biker, fitness guru, and professional hunter. His new video in collaboration with First Lite Hunting tells his story of skiing and hunting.
Wise is now a professional athlete in two fields – hunting and skiing. His new outwear sponsor, First Lite, is his first cross-sport sponsor. Wise has been hunting since he was a child. Wise’s YouTube channel is featuring Hunting and Farming videos that are specific to Wise OTG or Wise Off the Grid. He finds that he performs the best skiing and in the gym when dieting on game meat that he hunted.
Wise will be competing in Halfpipe at X-Games Aspen 2021 tonight (January 29, 2021) at 8:30 PM MST. Dave will be repping his new First Lite Outerwear sponsor and is hungry for redemption after missing the podium in 2020.
