Peak Skis was founded by former pro skier Bode Miller and big mountain skier and mountaineer Chris Davenport in 2022. According to Peak Skis, the Peak 98 is the model that 80 percent of skiers should be piloting 80 percent of the time. If 80 percent of skiers should be hitting slopes on the Peak 98s 80 percent of the time it must mean that those skis can handle almost any conditions. It also means that most skiers would go to the Peak 98s as their choice of ski throughout the season.
Now is your chance to own a limited-edition Peak ski developed in partnership with Big Sky Bravery, a venerated non-profit that serves active-duty warfighters from the most elite divisions and units. These limited-edition Big Sky Bravery skis are based on Peak’s “quiver killer” 98 model ski from the 23/24 line and designed with a custom winter camouflage top sheet featuring the Big Sky Bravery logo, the U.S. flag, and minimal Peak Ski Company marks and logos. Net proceeds will benefit Big Sky Bravery, a registered non-profit organization.

Big Sky Bravery was founded in 2015 to provide weeklong programs (Task Forces) in Montana’s restorative surroundings. These Task Forces are an all-expense paid, world-class experience that grants these individuals the rare opportunity to decompress, rediscover what was lost on the battlefield, and experience the hope and freedom they are all fighting for.
Task Force is a weeklong program that helps recipients reconnect with themselves and ultimately their families and communities through structured activities and mentorship. The purpose of these programs is to allow these elite warfighters (and their spouses) to step outside of their profession for a week and be humans rather than uniforms. The Task Forces facilitate decompression, build trust, encourage engagement through high-adrenaline activities, and provide space for thoughtful discussions. Recipients leave the Task Forces with lifelong bonds, restored hope, and renewed feelings of connection to themselves and others.
The Task Forces programs are available in the summer and winter. Each season provides various activities in Montana’s restorative surroundings. Task Forces are offered to active-duty males and females as well as spouses of past recipients. Each Task Force is led by a volunteer who earns the role of Task Force Director and is paired with the needed number of volunteers.
