Australian ski resorts are gearing up for the 2023 ski season, with snow cannons firing in all resorts in New South Wales (โ€˜NSWโ€™) and Victoria (โ€˜VICโ€™). With only 24 days until opening weekend in Australian resorts, snow making efforts received a boost over night with some natural snowfalls.

While these beautiful snow dustings will melt as the day warms up, the weather is getting notably colder in the Snowy Mountains, and the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (โ€˜BOMโ€™) is forecasting more snowfalls for the coming weekend.

To help get you into the spirit for the upcoming Aussie season, here a collection of pictures reaching us this morning from across the Australian Alps.
