BIG SKY, Montana – November 27, 2024 โ Big Sky Resort in Montana kicked off its 2024-25 winter season today with one of North America’s largest terrain openings, giving skiers and riders access to more than 1,500 acres of perfect corduroy and powder stashes aplenty.
After an overnight snowfall of six inches, the sky cleared to create exceptional opening day conditions.
“It takes a village to get this mountain open, and I’m proud of the spectacular skiing conditions we were able to deliver today.”
– Adam West, the resort’s vice president of mountain operations
With the opening of the Powder Seeker lift and terrain in The Bowl tomorrow (Thursday, November 28), the resort will increase skiable terrain to 1,800 acres and 70 trails.
