[PHOTOS] Ski Knuckle Huck Kicks Off 30 Years of X Games

The X Games are often recognized for their prominence in extreme sports, from snowboarding to skiing and skateboarding, you are sure to see something unbelievable at an X Games event. This year’s celebration of X Games Aspen represents the organization’s 30th anniversary, with a vast history of incredible feats, 2025’s run of the games is no different.

Kicking off the events this year at X Games Aspen 2025 was the anticipated Ski Knuckle Huck. The Knuckle Huck consists of 8 men and 8 women in separate categories, in a 20-minute jam session, competing for the best trick and style on the knuckle of the big-air jump. We had the opportunity to be on course and capture some of the incredible moments of the Ski Knuckle Huck competition.

Standings

After an incredible feat of skill from the world’s best, the Ski Knuckle Huck was done and dusted. This year’s knuckle-huck showed a show of skill and creativity from well-known athletes Like Alex Hall along with younger talent like Matej Svancer and Juho Saastamoinen. This young talent shows an incredible future for the future of freeskiing and the X Games. However, Alex Hall narrowly took the gold in the Men’s Category, and USA’s Rell Harwood took the women’s gold with the Czech Republic’s Tereza Korabova winning silver and Finlands Anni Karava taking bronze after a heated competition amongst the world’s best skiers in the X Games most unique event.
