Purgatory Resort is the proud new owner of Colorado’s largest backcountry Snowcat Adventures offering an additional 36,000 acres off-piste powder. Owner, James Coleman, acquired the former San Juan Untracked last week.ย Set to open this ski season, Snowcat Adventures takes guests deep into the San Juan Mountains to access deep bowls, steeps, cliffs, chutes and extensive tree skiing. With an elevation between 10,000 and 12.500 feet, vertical runs can be as long ย 2,500 feet. This daylong outing is priced at $350 per person.

โ€œWeโ€™re excited that Purgatory Snowcat Adventures is joining our family of resorts in the Southwest. Adding Coloradoโ€™s largest cat skiing operation to our portfolio of resorts extends the powder skiing experience and elevates it to another level.โ€
