Italy had their best year in over 20 years last year. ย Huge dumps, vicious avalanches, and all the pros in the world made Italy a madhouse last year. ย At times there was literally too much snow out there.

Italy wasย featured in nearly every ski movie that came out this year. ย And for good reason. ย Italy went off last year.
Salomon Freeski TV found a very cool angle on their Dolomite trip last year: ย War. ย World War 1 had a big impact on the Dolomites with forces hollowing out the mountains to fight each other in the high country. ย Salomon tells us more:
