Earlier this year, Lindsey Vonn and Three Forks Ranch, Colorado, announced a partnership for her to be its new Brand Ambassador for the private yet accessible skiing getaway.
Known as “The West Kept Secret,” the resort is an exclusive mountain oasis that provides guests with a beautiful wilderness getaway. It is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, just 40 miles north of Steamboat Springs. It is open year-round for guests to enjoy not only skiing but wellness retreats and treatments (in partnership with Mayo Clinic), fishing (and ice fishing), horseback riding, mountain biking, archery, and more.
As a Brand Ambassador, Vonn will help to bring awareness to this pristine ski area. Skiing at this property was only made possible via the restoration that took place when 16 miles of the river were rehabilitated to decrease erosion, and thousands of beetle-killed pine trees were removed for fire mitigation.
If the private and uncrowded slopes, stunning lodges, and perfect runs aren’t enough, guests at the ranch will have an opportunity to ski with Vonn herself this winter. For two weeks in February and March, she will host guests on the private mountain.
If interested, it is recommended to book soon as spots are going quickly.
The ski area is less than half a mile from the entrance to the Main Lodge, is only accessible by heated snow cats, and has runs that cater to all levels of skiing and snowboarding. Everyone skis with mountain guides, who are wilderness first responders, and has the ability to get private instruction if interested. The mountain has 23 runs, and a yearly average of 350 inches of snowfall, creating an uncrowded, unforgettable ski experience everyone can enjoy.
