Snow in California last night closed 9,945′ Tioga Pass on highway 120 in Yosemite and 9,624′ Sonora Pass on highway 108 just north of Yosemite last night.
Both passes remain closed today as of this writing at 6am PST.
Dodge ridge ski resort on highway 108 reported up to 4″ of new snow yesterday.
“A cool upper level weather system is moving through Northern California today. Some of us saw cool overnight lows as a result!
In addition, this system will likely bring a few snow showers to the high Sierra this afternoon. A quick 1-2 inches of snow accumulation will be possible above 7000 feet.” – NOAA Sacramento, CA yesterday
